Wifaqul Makatib

Providing quality religious education for a brighter future.

About Us

Our Story and Impact

The primary goals of Idara Wifaq-ul-Makatib encompass the need for a disciplined and high-quality educational system for students receiving formal education during the daytime. Despite the presence of religious schools in various areas, the aim is to establish a system for basic religious education that caters to a larger number of students compared to traditional madrasas.

To achieve this objective, the initiative commenced with the establishment of four Maktabs under the supervision of Hazrat Moulana Shah Jamal-ur-Rahman Sahab (DB) with the assistance of colleagues.

In order to enhance its effectiveness and expand its reach, key issues were identified in consultation with Hazrat Shah Jamal-ur-Rahman Sahab. Consequently, in September 2013, the initiative officially took shape under the name Wifaq-ul-Makatib.

What makes us different

Recognizing the paramount importance of meticulous planning and organization in establishing Makatib is crucial, as any lack of organization can result in the inefficient utilization of both teachers' and students' time. To address this concern, we have developed a formal syllabus that is intricately designed, complemented by a structured teacher training program.

The key figures within the Makatib are assigned their respective responsibilities through regular monthly and quarterly consultations. Furthermore, to regulate and enhance the standard of education, each Maktab undergoes monthly, half-yearly, and annual examinations.

In our commitment to maintaining a high standard of education, five highly-qualified scholars have been appointed to supervise the Makatib. If you are interested in establishing an organized Maktab in your area, kindly provide your details through the following link. A blend of disciplined education and holistic development, providing students with a structured syllabus, dedicated teacher training, and regular evaluations to ensure a thriving environment for the pursuit of Islamic knowledge.
